Highly recommend. Very cute little place. Quiet. Outside doesn't look like much, but inside is amazing. Perfect little getaway. And the gentleman running it, is so very nice. We called in a whim, in the evening, and he had one little cabin left. My daughter wants to move there. Lol. She's 6. Very clean. With everything you need. Full kitchen. With a lot more room than you would expect. And very affordable. Our new favorite place to stay.

Well it started off with us getting directed to a Safeway gas station in Port Townsend center late at night to learn that we were 15 miles away from the motel. Google maps... check yoself. Apparently this happens often. Please read the directions to the Valley View Motel on the Valley View website. Don't trust Google maps to get you there. However, we made it there in one piece and gratefully so. What a wonderful place to be. Goats, doggy, cat, chickens and an idyllic farm scene awaited us when we awoke in the morning. We had our own adorable cabin with full kitchen, bathroom and separate bedroom, which included a tiny TV that only took VHS tapes (which the office had an abundance of). If you are a child of the 90's, you will be happy. It's within walking distance of a sweet natural food store and a bus stop that could take you into town. It was awesome. Thanks and enjoy your stay!

Great, great, great! Staff was friendly and pleasant. We were very cozy in our little cabin. They even let us borrow a movie and we bought some farm fresh eggs for breakfast to cook in the kitchen. It was perfect, exactly what we needed for a night's rest, felt like being home. Thanks again!

Back in the 1960s, my father worked in these parts. This was one of the places I remembered staying at. They have not changed much, unlike the others. That is important to a child's life as they grow that memories stay. Remember the horses in the field and the way it felt to be in a lovely story book themes place. You know how you read books and watch movies that describe and show what staying at seaside places. The feeling was all the same..Its a shame that the many other places are not as they were. Such as the many Battery Forts in the area. Which use to wield big guns some were moveable some of the Forts had parks as well it's all changed which makes a sad story of some happy childhood memories. I understand times changes but most was for the act of thinking bettering places but to stay the same is so much better for making happy souls.

It is exactly as advertised. Modest and clean. The kitchen was equipped with pots, pans, dishes and coffee maker. Perfect stay for prepping midtrip before heading into the park. Couple who runs the motel are a delight. I was happy to give them my money.

This is a fun, inexpensive place, but it probably isn't for everyone. The cabins are small, but clean, although the beds are worn and the bed covers probably ought to go through the wash a bit more often. I enjoyed staying here. It's a very quiet place and the kitchen has everything you need. They have two friendly goats and several chickens that wander around looking cute and not bothering anyone. I'd definitely stay here again, but if you need modern luxury look elsewhere. Forget watching TV, there is limited reception. Also, I don't know about the other cabins, but the one was stayed in (#3 I think) is definitely maxed out at 3 people. If there are more in your party you'll be cramped.

Just the isolation and cozy atmosphere we needed to rest and relax. The manager and his wife are very hardworking and friendly. They care for goats, chickens, a dog and a cat. We made great memories and would love to return if that day comes! Early fall is very nice and early spring the wildlife can be seen returning home from their winter wandering. Thank you for such a great experience.

Nice quite place. Equipped with a kitchen, sofa, dining table, 2 queen beds. The interiors are clean. The exterior can do with a face lift. They have goats and a dog outside - makes for a very nice environment. The beds are very comfortable. DVDs are available at the front office to borrow. We enjoyed our time here.

My boyfriend and I had a hotel reservation in Port Angeles, however upon arrival were told the whole peninsula was without power. We were scrambling to find a place to stay when we came across this place (it had electricity). What an awesome find! Yes it's dated, no it's not fancy, no there is no maid service or room service, but it's functional and it's a great get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We had a great, relaxing weekend with the dog and it didn't cost a ton of money. The staff was really friendly. This place saved our joint birthday trip weekend when everything was going wrong. We will definitely be staying again.
